For now the armor systems is limited to the designs of Halo: Reach, and a few new ones were introduced alongside Halo Infinite's battle pass. It's likely that the "more details" and additional Armor Cores will be released when Halo Infinite's campaign releases. Other pieces of armor are also locked in the Mark VII Armor Core, and some pieces only contain a description on how to unlock them that reads, "Stay tuned for more details." Most of the armor, however, can be unlocked by reaching certain levels in Halo Infinite's battle pass. One more Armor Core called Yoroi can be viewed in the Armor Hall, but it's locked behind the Fractures: Tenrai Event. In Halo Infinite, you can unlock a range of Spartan Upgrades for Master Chief, which will enhance his various abilities. However, these armor pieces are only available to the Mark V Armor Core, and therefore cannot be equipped by players using the Mark VII. This armor was originally teased ahead of E3 for Halo Infinite, and is the centerpiece of the first season. Since this is a Halo: Reach-themed Armor Core, players have options to other armor sets from designs featured in Halo: Reach. Players can unlock armor permutations pieces. Furthermore, players can customize emblems on the chest piece. For example, the only other available Armor Core at this time is the Mark V armor that was originally featured in Halo: Reach. Halo Infinite s armor customization allows players to change the following components: Helmet, Helmet Attachments, Chest Gear, Shoulder Pads (left and right), Gloves, Wrist Gear, Knee Pads, Utility, Visor Color, and Armor effects. Thats right, all of these armors are sans armor core restrictions, go wild. Halo Infinite's Armor Cores represent a collective of unlockable armor pieces that can only be equipped if players have the core they're associated with. Under 'runtime permutation index', Im choosing 20, one of those samurai shoulders. Each of these categories has more selections to choose from as well, but the part that has changed significantly is that these options are only available for the Mark VII Armor Core. Accessing the Mark VII reveals an array of armor customization options that fans will be familiar with, such as helmets, shoulders, chest, and visors. These differences are represented by Halo Infinite's new Armor Core system, which separates Spartan armor by suits, and then into multiple options for each piece of armor. Of course, the variety of armor available to players doesn't affect their Spartan's stats or anything of the sort, but many of them look fantastic and are great additions to the Halo series. 343 Industries has changed the way Halo Infinite allows players to earn new armor pieces, as well as how the pieces are categorized. Halo Infinite Armor cores, armor pieces, armor effects and more are available to unlock, but keeping track of how to unlock them all may be difficult.
